ELECTRIC
POWER
We carry out our conventional energy generation operations in the province of Neuquén through a combined-cycle thermal power plant with an installed capacity of 672 MW (ISO). This plant is fueled by natural gas, part of which comes from our own reserves in the Agua del Cajón field.
Our power generation capacity allows us to contribute significantly to the electrical supply in the region, supporting energy demand with efficient and sustainable sources.
Plant
LOCATION
Our power plant is strategically located on an 11,000-hectare property owned by Capex in the Agua del Cajón area, in the Province of Neuquén, at an altitude of 283 meters above sea level. These facilities are directly on the El Salitral field, which provides us with a constant supply of natural gas to be used as fuel in the generation of electrical energy. This strategic location supports our ability to supply energy efficiently and sustainably in the region.
