AGENDA
The creation of a new corporate area dedicated to Sustainability is a significant step in our commitment to responsible business practices. This area will oversee organically coordinating all actions related to sustainability that the Company was already carrying out.
Allocating human and financial resources to develop a Strategic Sustainability Plan demonstrates our commitment to go beyond and address both current and future challenges. This strategic plan will tackle crucial topics such as climate change mitigation and energy transition, while consolidating our efforts toward a more sustainable and resilient future.
The update of stakeholder identification and the conduct of both internal and external materiality surveys are critical steps in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the most relevant economic, environmental, and social topics within our sector. This process allows us to assess the significance of these topics based on various criteria, including company risks and opportunities, stakeholder assessments, industry-relevant issues, and sector-specific requirements outlined by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
We craft our Sustainability Reports to establish a baseline for all our activities in alignment with standards and collected information. We aim to transparently communicate our sustainability performance, as well as our actions and achievements related to the most relevant topics for our stakeholders and the industry at large.

Several of the strategies were implemented in our Economic Group and we are currently working on other lines of action.
Gasification:
We implemented the vertical integration of our operations, leveraging the entire added value of gas and its derivatives until its conversion into combined-cycle electrical energy. Additionally, we achieved a significant percentage of self-generation, using gasses produced in our field and substantially reducing our consumption of external energy sources.
Waste Treatment and Reduction:
We have implemented measures to treat and reduce the waste generated by our operations, and we are conducting applied research to improve our extraction systems.
Value Chain:
We collaborate with suppliers, entrepreneurs, innovators, universities, and CONICET to drive innovation and technological transfer in our country. Additionally, we are committed to the development of local suppliers.
Educational Visits:
We promote awareness of clean energies through educational visits to our wind parks and hydrogen plant. These visits include students, professionals, and public authorities, both national and international.
Energy Efficiency and Greenhouse Gas Reduction:
We have taken measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This includes injecting water into burners to reduce NOx levels emitted by our Thermal Power Plant, as well as injecting polymers in oil tertiary recovery processes, which has significantly reduced our water needs and associated energy.
Renewable Energies and Hydrogen:
Since 2012, we have been installing wind parks and have developed a Pilot Hydrogen Production Plant through water electrolysis, including underground hydrogen storage. We are also researching pilot production of green methane.
Community Relations and Support for NGOs:
We establish close relationships with the local communities where we operate and provide support to non-governmental organizations addressing issues such as malnutrition, health promotion, sports, and education.
