HISTORY
We are a comprehensive energy company with a long history in Argentina.

1988
In 1988, we initiated our operations with a focus on the energy sector, dedicating ourselves to developing integrated projects of high added value.

1991
In 1991, we successfully secured the Agua del Cajón and Senillosa oilfield concessions.

1993
By 1993, we celebrated the inauguration of Phase I of our Electric Power Plant, boasting a capacity of 96 MW.

1994
Continuing our mission, in 1994, we completed Phase II of the Electric Power Plant, reaching a capacity of 144 MW.

1995
The following year, in 1995, we achieved a significant milestone by concluding Phase III of the Electric Power Plant, with a capacity of 131 MW, while also conducting our Initial Public Offering of Shares (BCBA: CAPX).

1998
We marked a significant step with the establishment of the Propane, Butane, and Gasoline Plant.

1999
The expansion continued in 1999 with Phase IV, giving rise to the Combined Cycle of our Electric Power Plant, boasting an impressive additional capacity of 301 MW (Total Capacity 672MW)

2001
In 2001, we celebrated the discovery of Gas and Oil at a depth of 3,700 meters, an achievement that further strengthened our position in the sector.

2009
In 2009, we secured the continuity of our operations by extending the concession for 10 years, until 2026.

2010
In 2010, we reached two notable milestones: the Commercial Operation of our Hydrogen Plant and the Testing of 4 Shale Oil Wells in Vaca Muerta.

2011
In 2011, we advanced towards more sustainable energy with the successful development of the Wind Park Diadema I (6.3 MW) and exploration in Tight Sand Gas.

2016
In 2016, we took a significant step by completing our First Shale Gas Well in Fm Los Molles.

2017
In 2017, we strengthened our presence by securing an unconventional concession for Agua del Cajón for 35 years and obtaining a stake in oil and gas areas in Río Negro (Loma Negra and La Yesera).

2018
In 2018, we continued our expansion by acquiring the Pampa del Castillo area in the Gulf of San Jorge basin.

2019
In 2019, we contributed to a sustainable future with the development of the Diadema II Wind Park (27 MW) as part of the RenovAr 2 Program.

2020
In 2020, we expanded our presence by acquiring the Bella Vista Oeste area in Chubut and securing concessions for Exploration in the Parva Negra Oeste and Puesto Zúñiga fields.

2022
In 2022, we celebrated the commencement of production in Puesto Zúñiga.
2023
At the end of 2023, we secured dispatch priority for the construction of our first Solar Park in the province of San Luis (La Salvación 20MW) to operate within the MATER market.
